Episode 140: Horror Author Joe Hill

Welcome back to a smoky, feverish, soon-to-be a bonfire episode of the Writer’s Bone podcast. Today’s guest is Joe Hill, the kazoo-playin’ horror raconteur responsible for such tales as Heart-Shaped Box, Horns, and The Fireman. Hill talks to Sean Tuohy about how he wanted to explore a different kind of female strength with The Fireman’s heroine Harper Grayson, being more comfortable in his own skin as an author, and, of course, pop culture.

To learn more about Joe Hill, visit his official website, like his Facebook page, or follow him on Twitter @joe_hill. You can also listen to our mega pod live from Brookline Booksmith that featured Hill, and read our first interview with the author back in July 2015.
